For: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ourika Valley - Argan Cooperative - Oukaimeden Valley - Asni Valley - Marrakech Hill 15% The driver will pick you up at 10am at your hotel or riad. We head towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains. The journey to the first valley, Ourika Valley, takes about an hour. The landscape is magnificent with green valleys, mountain peaks and waterfalls. We stop at the village of Seti Fatima, which includes 7 waterfalls. We continue to the argan cooperative run by local Berber women. They show how they extract golden argan oil from argan nuts. Argan oil is called "Moroccan gold" and is used in food and cosmetics. It is renowned for its many health benefits. : After this we head to the second valley, the Oukaimeden Valley. Along the way we pass through traditional Berber stone villages. The landscape is majestic with a lush gorge winding through a palette of jagged peaks. Oukaimeden is strikingly beautiful. It has a rich cultural heritage and prehistoric rock art sites. During the winter months, Oukaimeden is a ski resort with the highest ski lifts in Africa. We stop at a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch we head to the third valley, the Asni Valley. The area is picturesque and includes a cluster of Berber villages spread around the Valley River. The area is famous for its fruit trees (apple, walnut, almond, peach, etc.). The village of Asni is located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.
